Happy Memorial Day to all, and a big “Thank You” to our troops! The weekend has delivered wonderful weather. Although the area is full of visitors, our immediate area is as calm as ever! No need to worry about tourist congestion here! We woke up Sunday and it was cloudy, so I was a bit concerned, but it cleared up, and blue skies moved in! Highs were in the 70′s making it a really gorgeous weekend.
The sunset was very nice on Sunday. We had lovely guests from Georgia [& Texas], and some last minute folks currently living in NC. Sat on the porch rocking chair talking to the guests until it got so chilly, we had to come inside. Love the weather! While others melt, we are cool! Great time to visit the mountains… so make your reservations now.
