Hiking in Linville Gorge

Whether you want to hike in the Linville Gorge area or along the Blue Ridge Parkway, Alluring View B&B is only a few minutes from these hiking trails. The Jonas Ridge Trail will take you to Sitting Bear, Devil’s Hole and Hawksbill. The Table Rock hiking trail is also close by.  There are trails to hike all the way down to the Linville River which runs through the middle of the Gorge. The Linville Falls area is 2 miles away, as the crow flies. You can hike to the falls from here, if you know how.  The entrance to Upper Creek Falls is a couple of miles away. There you will find endless falls, pools, and formations you can explore for hours. It even has a sliding rock to slide down into a pool of water. There is also a Tarzan-like “rope” you can grab and swing to land in another “pool” of water.

There are almost 40 miles of hiking trails in and around Linville Gorge.
